A shot of the Colosseum in Rome taken earlier in December.

To coney the old and ruined effect of the building I applied a sepia tone to the image and added a little noise for 'atmosphere'.

This was the only 'touch up' I applied to the image and as such I don't see it as being manipulation and so I have added it to the Photograph gallery.

The image was taken from a higher road across the main road from the Colosseum. It runs up along the left of the building as you are walking down from the Forum. That's why you can see the road in the foreground.
If I took the image from the same road level as the Colosseum you would not have seen it.

There is a very authentic look about this photo. I really looks old and goes well with the theme. Nice composition "of the main photo" I think I would of prefered it on it's own with out the collage but it's your work
