Description

It is the future and man lives beneath the waves with the whales.

This piece was created entirely in Vue d'Esprit.
All models were created in Vue4 and then rendered (render time over 5 hours).
Not too sure about the contrast and levels, any tips would be welcome. The reason why its so green and lightish is because of the effect of the colouration and lighting of the ocean being reflected around the room. The room has reflective walls and floors, just for that added cliche futuristic look! :)

PS: The name of the city where humans live beneath the waves is Sinsity (named after the Vectro-Sin Corp who funded most of its construction).

i don't really know too much about how to use three dimensional programs.but this piece is really good.it has an amazing ambience aswell.I was thinking maybe crop that top texture out.but it seems that texture supports the image, and if taken away could break the image;) hehe.
i like this piece alot.

Sensational. It's surreal yet infinitely possible. Lovely!

Nice models! The lack of contrast doesn't really bother me...maybe a different composition would work a bit better though...what if it were just the girl and the glass window to the aquarium and you cropped out most of the wall since they're a little barren? I think that might bring the viewer's attention more to the point, perhaps. :)

I do like it though...the blue definitely gives it a mood, which is cool. :)

Really good concept. As far as contrast, it would have been nice to put a little table lamp in a corner, just to have a tiny white light. It would have broken the greenish hue.

Arghlhs. - druels -.
I like the scrabby texutre on the wall.
Is there a thought behind this that, Humanity shouldnt play with the nature. It could go all wrong. Looks like a doctor standing and watching the beautiful dolphin.

This is really great - you've done a superb job with all the models and setting the scene. I like really like the soft, faded look of it. Feels like you could be there too. Serene and beautiful work.

nice work , love to see what you could do with one of the 3d bigboys (max etc) and their powerful renderers. still good use of vue d'esprit

Excellent sense of scale here, the reflections in the floor really add more depth to it. The frame on the window could use a bit more detail maybe, but thats not really a problem to be honest. Great work.
